Blu Spas is honored to have collaborated as spa design and planning consultants for several of the 2016 summer spa openings.

Destination Hotels’ two new properties: La Cantera Spa – Loma de Vida and The Spa at Cliff House.

Destination Hotels‘ newest project, La Cantera Hill Country Resort in San Antonio Texas is a place where peace and tranquility flourish. Blu Spas is honored to be the selected spa design and planning consultant for the La Cantera Spa – Loma de Vida – which opens in spring 2016.

This unique spa property is a secluded sanctuary immersed in nature and situated on one of the highest points in San Antonio with breathtaking views of the Texas sky.

The spa invokes the spirit of Texas Hill Country and inspires traditional spa offerings (massages, facials), along with signature experiences indigenous to the area and results-orientated services integrating technology and nature to create a true sense of balanced well-being.

Blu Spas – Spa Design & Planning Consultants

Cary Collier, Principal of Blu Spas Inc, and Blu Spas Team were selected, after the competitive interview process, as the spa and fitness design and planning consultants for La Canteras’ spa renovation.  Collier worked closely with Maggy Dunphy, Corporate Director of Spa & Fitness for Destination Hotels, and Executive Director of Loma De Vida Spa.

The Spa at Cliff House – Ogunquit, Maine

Cliff House is conveniently located in Southern Maine between Ogunquit and York, an hour’s drive north of Boston and a forty-minute drive from Portland. The Spa at Cliff House is inspired by the natural elements of the sea, embracing the “wild & free” elements of coastal Maine, channeling the transformative interplay of water, stone, sky, and sand.
