In March 2015, Four Seasons officially opened their newest property in Bahrain Bay, a new mixed-use community on the city’s northeastern waterfront.

With a bold design aesthetic from Skidmore Owings & Merrill (SOM), Four Seasons Hotel Bahrain Bay rises 68 stories on a 12-acre private island

The Spa at Four Seasons Hotel Bahrain Bay is expansive in scale – offering 17 spacious treatment rooms, measuring 3,485 square metres (37,512 square feet) and encompassing four interconnected buildings, woven together with pathways and gardens. Sensitively designed, the Spa offers both women-only and unisex facilities.

Blu Spas was a member of the collaborative project planning team for the Spa at Four Seasons Hotel Bahrain Bay. A distinctive feature of this spa is it is situated on multiple levels and allows shared access to shared spaces for both genders.

The Spa features gender-specific Turkish hammams, whirlpools and relaxation areas. Its spacious pool area was designed to accommodate gender-specific hours of use.
