Cary & Kim Collier are honored to be part of series 1 & 2 of Project Positive Planet webinars with a focus upon the future of wellbeing, spa, hospitality and travel.
Here are our five key take aways from our participation in this Project Positive Planet webinar series:
1. Sanitization leads the way:
Science based sanitization required in every area of facility and operations, including sanitization prior to arrival, during guest experiences, between guests and all points in-between. Furthermore, sanitization may require 1-2 day “turn-over”, which will also include air purification 24/7.
Definitely check out the sanitized travel cleaning products and self cleaning hotel suite ideas from The New Normal by TrendHunter.
Re-purpose hotel guest rooms as Spa Suites for entire experience in one room - i.e. treatments, fitness, private dining and work space.
4. Garden Parties:
Enhanced outdoor experiences in all areas of hospitality and spa. Absolutely integrate gardens into operations, and budget for Food and Energy Systems to support your property and your community with fresh produce and clean energy, year round. For an example of this check out our Blu Galaxy - A Healthy Living Eco-system.
Additionally, we will see an “agricultural renaissance” and much needed re-connection to nature, with sustainability at the forefront.
5. Wellness At Home:
From Six Senses to CorePowerYoga to TeleMedicine, we are benefitting from the generosity and talent of our health & wellness community online.
Here's one to keep in mind to spark a deeper understanding of plant-based healing, FREE thru April 2020, from Green Flower - Fundamentals of Cannabis.
Our hearts go out to everyone affected by COVID-19, which is all of us, everyone has been touched by this pandemic in some way. As we enter into “ the global new normal” may we proceed with more compassion, kindness, and enlightened consciousness of the fact that we are, indeed, one global family.
